About me:

Did you grow up having a passion for aviation or an influence in your life to introduce you to aviation?

I grew up in a town with NATO airbase. Watching firefighter jets cross the sky every day as well as my dad working for NATO planted seeds of interest in aviation industry in my mind.

What brought you into the avionics community?

During my senior year I was responsible for a project where I was introduced with the avionics. At that time, I worked on the Piper Warrior integrating AoA and AoS probe as well as performing extensive flight testing on that aircraft.

Did you go to school or certification program prior to joining the industry?

I gained my bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology and I am currently enrolled in Master's program in Flight Test Engineering.

What does your day to day look like in your current role?

My role at Avidyne is to ensure that we provide products and services with the highest quality, safety, and reliability as well as add value to the flying experience through continuous improvement in the quality of Avidyne products and processes.

What do you find most enjoyable about your job?

As a quality engineer, every day is a new experience. My tasks at work are constantly changing which brings an excitement pace and leaves no room for the mundane, repetitive tasks.

Do you have any advice for someone beginning their career or transferring into the avionics community?

The avionics industry is exhilarating and there is so much to learn. Take initiative to gain as much knowledge and broaden your horizons which will definitely take you to new destinations.
